Windstream is an emailing site where you can receive, access and send emails to the clients. Many users face a lot of issues while login into Windstream email.
This issue can be due to :
•Internet access is not sufficient.
•Lost Windstream password
•Trouble in a web browser
•Account is hacked
This problem can be fixed by the following solutions:
1.Check if the internet is working properly.
2.Open Windstream email and try to log in to your account. Type-in appropriate username and password.
3.Wait for sometime if the server is down and try again it later.
4.Make sure that when you are login to your account, the Windstream account is still active.
Note: It is important to note that if have a login to your Windstream account for more than 180 days without POP, IMAP or webmail activity your Windstream account will deactivate or suspend automatically.
5.If you don’t remember your Windstream email password then to reset your password follow the following steps:
•Open Windstream.net in your browser.
•Select MANAGE ACCOUNT. Then click on ACCOUNT AND SUPPORT.
•Now in the next step, Type your Windstream email account credentials and then click on login.
•Select Change email account, username and password.
•Click on “Forgot Password “
•Follow the instructions on-screen.
•Reset your password and make sure to use a strong password.
•Sign in to your Windstream account with a new password.
Not able to send messages through smtp.windstream.net
To fix this issue follow the steps given below:
•Go to the window live mail.
•Now right click your account address after selecting it.
•Choose the “server” tab.
•Click on “My server requires authentication” option
•Search “Advanced” tab.
•Write 587 value in outgoing mail server.
•Select the save button.
•Try sending an email.
